What's For Lunch??

YumYum!! My friend Karen posted on her Facebook page that she had made 6 can soup for supper last night. Then one of the ladies who replied posted a link to the recipe. Well, I kind of manipulated it a little and now hubby and I will be enjoying some incredble chicken soup for lunch! I told him I should have made it early enough to have had it for breakfast! :)

It is snowing again!! but it is mixed with rain..boo-hoo...

Chicken Soup

1 can cream of mushroom soup
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1/2 bag Steamfresh Mixed Vegetables
1 can mild Rotel
1 can black beans (drained and rinsed)
1 can Chicken (or cook a fresh hen and use as much as you want in your soup)
**I cooked my own chicken

Seasonings for your tastebuds:

white powder
cilantro
garlic salt
sea salt
cumin

Open all cans and mix well...add chicken and spices and heat until thoroughly heated well.

Serve with grated cheese and a dollop of sour cream over tostito chips or with crackers!

YUM!!!

  1. Your picture trail looks so great! I'll have to direct everyone I know here so they can see all the great quilts they can win in the raffle. Fantastic job!

Hope you enjoy your soup tonight...

  2. Sounds yummy. Thanks. I"ll give it a try. We also love the six can tortilla soup recipe. Great "basic" dinner to keep in the pantry for when you need something easy & fast to serve!

  4. Sounds yum, but I have two questions. What is Rotel? What is White Powder?

Please let me know what you've completed a PhD so I can mark it in my sidebar with the others done! 8-)
