Please welcome one of my newest sponsors!!  Florine Johnson of Florine Johnson Designs!!
When I asked Florine if she would consider becoming one of my sponsors she was happy to agree!  I was so excited!  I have all of her patterns but 2 and have just recently finished Rob Roy!  We spoke on the phone and had a lovely conversation!  She is the sweetest person and a pleasure to work with!  If you have never seen her patterns, you are in for a treat!  And guess what!!  She is offering a giveaway prize for you today!!

She would love to have you all visit her over at Florine Johnson Designs and see what all she has in her shoppe!  I am sure you will find something that you just can't live without!

I asked her if she would share a little bit about herself with my readers and she sent this along!
________________________________________________________________________
I took my first quilting class in 1991.  After taking many classes on piecing and appliqué, I decided that hand appliqué was the one and only thing I really wanted to do. After trying various needlework hobbies such as crewel, needlepoint and knitting, I came across a small quilt shop where I took a sampler class from Sherry Lundquest.  Since then I've been taught by some of the best teachers around - Joyce Selin in Stone Mountain, GA, Judy Simmons, Patricia Campbell, Jennifer Amore, Dilys Fronks (Wales), Nancy Pearson, Carol Armstrong, Faye Anderson, Jean Ray Laurie, Ted Storm (Holland), Luche Jonkers (Belgium), Judy Mathison and Kathy Ingmundson among others.
Now I enjoy teaching others the joys of both hand and fusible appliqué. I've taught a number of guilds in Georgia, North Carolina, Switzerland and Hungary.   Teaching in three cities in Switzerland was wonderful and being the first American to teach in Hungary was a special privilege. I've traveled to Hungary twice and my pattern RALPH is a direct result of  teaching them the second year.
Once back in the USA, others wanted the rooster pattern so I decided to self publish with Eileen Sullivan as my mentor.
___________________________________________________________________________
Florinne has 10 Radical Rooster patterns.. Ralph...Raj...Rob Roy...Rupert...Rowdy...Rascal...Rock...Reginald...Ricky...and Roger!!  She has also designed Hilda, the mother of all these radical roosters!!!
There are more products on her website waiting for you to come and take a look see for yourself!! So head on over to Florine Johnson Designs!  You will be glad that you did!

I want to thank Florine for agreeing to this interview today and for offering up for your pleasure one of her Florine's Fabulous Boards!  This board will aid you when it comes time to put all of the applique pieces together to form your roosters!  It has a retail value of 29.95!! This is an awesome giveaway prize!
