Good morning all of my flower gardeners! I hope if you were in the path of Irene over the weekend or continue to be in her path, that you did or will make it safely through without much incident! We have some crop damage and our truck took a hit by a large falling tree limb but other than that we fared pretty well. We got over 2 inches of rain which we desperately needed and that was the positive side of the storm. We knew it would take a hurricane to make our crop this year...I just wish there was not so much destruction when they come. We lost power for several hours so no sewing for me but hopefully I can get at least one more flower posted by end of day!
So, are you ready to show us the flowers you were able to plant this week! I know they are beautiful!

ReplyDeleteI think the winds at the campground that blew out the sides of the pop-up camper in July were worse than some of the news coverage I've seen on TV!

Better late than never!!! I seldom get a weekend post done so I just do mine at the beginning of the week.
ReplyDeleteI haven't gotten a lot done this past week on my flower garden. Had a horrible tooth ache over the weekend, with some nights that my throat swelled almost closed. Called dentist office first thing Monday and they were closed, so on Tuesday I just called before hours, left them a message i was coming in. Not sure they were to happy about that, but I couldn't wait any longer. Infected Tooth now gone and I feel better, but jaw and part of my face is still swollen. I think today I'll be able to get back to work my flower garden. : )
