A Couple Of Things

I was browsing through all of my photos tonight and happened upon this one.  It is my favorite photo of me and my sisters.  I am the one in the middle...appropriate... because I am the middle daughter age wise.. we have a brother who is younger than we all are!  Did he ever catch heck growing up. :)

This was taken in my 30's! Boy! To be that young again! And that thin!

And on the blogland front...Lisa from That Crazy Quilty Girl had a giveaway last week and I won!!  My prize came in todays mail! This is Riley Blake's Rolie Polie of Lola's Posies by Lila Tueller!  I feel another jelly roll quilt coming on!!  Thank you Lisa!

Thearica, your smile beams warmly now as it did then. The charity in your heart endears you to me and loads of others. Your jelly roll colors inspire me to get out there and cut something !~!

Congrats on the win Thearica! You'll have to show what you create with it! Love the sister picture, I have some like it also, having 3 sisters, me in the middle!

What a wonderful photo!!! I don't think I would go back to my 30s.

Love the roll! That will make a great JR quilt.

and the book I won in your 300th-follower giveaway arrived today! And I can't wait to use the lovely black and white fat quarters you included! maybe I'll find something in the book to use them on!

I just noticed the banner at the top of the post too, and I could make out the men Quilt Too slogan, so I've made a note of the link and will mention it on my blog, and see if I can work out how to add the button too!
