To-Do List - New Monthly Linky Party + Giveaway for 2013 !

It is the end of January!!  How much did you all accomplish on your Monthly To-Do List for this  month??  Show us on your blogs tomorrow, January 31, so we can scoot back over to your blogs through the link you left at the beginning of the month and give you a hip hip hooray for the things you were able to achieve! :)

I am looking forward to getting more things done in 2013 than I have done in a long time!  I will be doing my best to fit in some basic sewing, piecing tops, cross stitching small things, crazy quilting, and some longarm quilting each month. Not a lot of any one certain thing... just enough of each for nothing to get stale.  I am also going to be fitting in those pesky little UFO's that are cluttering up my sewing room!   I have purchased a digital copy of a chalkboard from Dreamstime and am going to list 5 things each month that I want to finish.

Any other items I finish for the month will just be the gravy. :)

Here is my January to-do list!
Would you like to join me?  You can consider this a UFO challenge of sorts and also a to-do list for those things you would like to accomplish for the year!

You can also consider it a monthly giveaway! (look below)

Come and join me.. You can either go and purchase your own digital copy of the chalk board for your blog or create your own digital image with software of your own choosing... or simply just make a list on your blog using a gadget.  How you create your list doesn't matter... let's all just have fun together!

How to participate: Choose 5 things you would like to get done for January and create a blog post listing those 5 things.  Give a shout out for the Monthly To-Do List Linky Party here on my blog with a link back here.  Then come on back and link up using Mr. Linky below. (don't wait until you finish your projects)

Visit each others links to see what everyone else will be working on.  Then come back at the end of the month and visit each other again to see who accomplished what on their list and give them a hip-hip hooray for what they were able to get finished!

Please share the button on your blog.... Not mandatory but  I would truly appreciate it. :)

Photobucket

And let's make it even more interesting!  For everyone who links up, your name will go in a hat and I will give away something to the name that is pulled!  To be eligible for the giveaway, you must have a link in your post back here to my blog. For a second chance to win each month, please put the button on your sidebar for a 2nd entry!  If this gets a lot of traffic, I will entertain the thought of dual winners so please, help spread the word!

  7. I am joining up with your Linky party in conjunction with my own. My monthly list will probably be 7-8 items, and they will be in different stitching crafts (mostly knitting, quilting or embroidery); I hope that's okay!

  15. I am also in after reading Kerrie's blog (above) and finding the timing perfect! So I have created my post (http://alittlebirdmademe.wordpress.com/2013/01/21/to-do-list-for-january/) and have organised my thoughts as a result. I as struggling with the balance between sewing with obligation, and sewing for joy - sitting down to make a list solved that problem straight away. Thanks!!
