WIP Wednesday over at Lee's and Freshly Pieced!

Lee told me once that I was one of the first quilters to support her WIP Wednesday linky party.  Made me smile..I used to take part quite often but  I have been totally lax at getting anything accomplished so I haven't took part in a good long while.  I emailed her the other day and told her I was coming back because I was going to get some sewing and quilting finished this year!  And here I am!

I was upstairs all afternoon working on this wallhanging.  It is the result of a row robin that I hosted several years ago on the HGTV Quilting and Needlework Forum.  There were more parts to the robin but I have cut it down so it would not be so large.  I really like the way these pieces play so well together.

I need to add the borders and quilt it and hopefully by next week when I go over to link up at Lee's  WIP Wednesday, I can show a completed quilt!  Keep your fingers crossed!

This is my next WIP that I will be posting over at Lee's.  It is a quilt that I started at a quilting retreat a year ago and here it sits sadly with only one block finished. argg!  Well, Lee is going to help me fix this situation! :)

And I bought all of these coordinated fabrics to make pillowcases.  I have made a few but this fabric needs to be used!  We shall see what next Wednesday brings!

SO?? Have you got a work in progress that you would like to show off?  Do you need motivation to get er' done?  Go on over to Lee's and link up!

While you are here on my blog, check out the 3 new linky parties that I am hosting for 2013!

Your Christmas Quilt is precious. I wish I loved doing applique as much as I love looking at it. I love whimsy and your creation is chock full of it!

Each applique design was done by a different person. I wish I remembered who did each one but it has been so long ago.

Lovely quilt. Look forward to seeing it finished. The star block looks similar to what I am currently working on. Like you I have needed a bit of persuasion to continue with it.

I will have to come over to see yours. :)

It looks like you have your work cut out for you. I can't wait to see the finish.

Pretty blocks. I love diagonal lines and the shapes they generate in formations.
